Short answer
Pick Pitch if you want to start on a free plan with unlimited presentations and only move to paid when you need PPTX export. Pick Beautiful.ai if you expect to pay from the start, want Pro or Team features during a 14-day trial, and need PowerPoint import and export on the paid seat. Pitch prices are in euros and Beautiful.ai prices are in dollars, so this post does not convert one into the other. For this comparison, a slide maker is software that produces a presentation file you can edit and present.
What we compared
Both pricing pages were read directly on October 17, 2026. The fields below come from those pages and from the FAQ text printed on them. Neither tool was run for this post.

The free path, in detail
Pitch’s free plan is the more generous of the two on paper. You get unlimited presentations, two external guests, and 100 AI credits. The credits are one-time: once spent, they are gone, and the page says they do not renew. A free account can therefore test the editor and a handful of AI actions, but it cannot support a steady weekly workflow.
Beautiful.ai’s pricing page shows no free plan. Its trial gives unrestricted access to Pro or Team for 14 days, but a credit card is required from the start. The FAQ says the card is charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. If you only need one deck, the trial may be enough. If you need a deck every week, the trial is a short window.
Export and file handoff
This is the field that matters most when a deck has to leave the vendor’s app. Pitch lists PPTX export on the Plus plan, and the page says the exported file carries no Pitch branding. Its FAQ also says you can upload a PPTX file to import an existing deck, and that Google Slides and Keynote users should export to PPTX first.
Beautiful.ai’s FAQ states that every seat includes PowerPoint import and export. The pages we read do not split that by tier beyond what is printed, so we report it as stated.
Speed: marketing claims, not results
Both vendors describe speed on their pages. Pitch’s FAQ says its agent can generate a presentation in seconds. Beautiful.ai’s pricing copy describes presentations made in minutes rather than hours. These are vendor statements, and we have not checked them. In this post, neither tool has a timed result. Our methodology explains how a timed run will be scored once it is done.
Which buyer fits which tool
- Pick Pitch if your first test is free, and PPTX export can wait until the Plus plan.
- Pick Beautiful.ai if you will pay from the start, need PowerPoint import and export in the paid seat, and can finish the trial within two weeks.
- Pick neither if you need a euro-priced team seat with a USD budget. In that case, check the currency on each page before you compare totals.

Evidence and method
Sources: the Pitch pricing page and the Beautiful.ai pricing page, both read directly on October 17, 2026. Limits: Pitch free trials depend on the customer, so the trial row is only what the page says. Prices are shown in each vendor’s currency and billing period. No time to a finished deck was measured.
Limits
Vendor pricing changes often. Confirm the current price, the trial terms and the export rules on each vendor page before you commit money.
Questions readers ask
Can I use Pitch for free and still export PPTX?
Not on the free plan as its pricing page reads. PPTX export is listed from the Plus plan, priced at €10 a seat each month on annual billing. The free plan keeps unlimited presentations and 100 one-time AI credits.
How long is the Beautiful.ai trial?
The pricing page lists a 14-day trial of Pro or Team. A credit card is required, and the plan is charged automatically unless the trial is cancelled before it ends.
Which tool is faster to a finished deck?
We have not timed either tool. Both vendors use speed language on their pages, but those statements are marketing claims, not results from our runs.
